Can't read XLS file

Hi there,

I've been trying to implement this class today as I have moved from using ASP on a windows server to using PHP on a linux server, however my spreadsheet, which is updated regularly with new info, is in XLS format as I don't have a new enough version of Excel to save in XLSX.

The title of this class suggests that it should work for XLS files, however I can only get it work in test on a simple XLSX file taken from another source.

Is there a way to get this class to work with my current xls file?

xlsx only
